BALTIMORE, MD, January 21, 2025 – New research published in the INFORMS journal Management Science reveals that corporate chain ownership of fertility clinics not only increases access to treatment but also enhances patient outcomes. The study shows that chain-owned clinics perform 27.2% more IVF cycles, achieve a 13.6% improvement in success rates, and adopt standardized practices that reduce risky multiple births while prioritizing healthier single births.

BALTIMORE, MD, January 24, 2023 – How can a sports team win off the field with variable ticket pricing strategies? A new study in the INFORMS journal Management Science sheds light on the adoption of variable pricing increases in primary market ticket sales by looking at National Football League (NFL) ticket markets.
We would like to commend Dr. DavideGottsegen for his insightful column, “As war rolls on, support for Ukraine must continue,” in the Jan. 20 Gazette. He eloquently and correctly condenses the issues, outlines the over 1,000 year history of Ukraine and its people, and documents why Ukraine and Ukrainians are totally blameless in this unjustified, unprovoked war by Russia on this sovereign nation in Eastern Europe. As children of the Ukrainian diaspora, we learned about many of the topics noted in Gottsegen’s excellent column in our Ukrainian Saturday school classes on Ukraine, its language, culture, history, and religion. We are pleased and touched that he took the time and made the effort to share his wisdom with our community.
